Laura Morelli at the Boston Globe Travel Show

I love sharing my passion for art history, whether in a traditional college classroom, at a professional conference, in a bookstore, or on an airplane!

I have taught traditional introductory and upper-level art history courses, specially designed seminars on authentic arts and design, as well as workshops on writing in the humanities. I have taught at Trinity College in Rome, as well as at Northeastern University, Merrimack College, St. Joseph College, and the College of Coastal Georgia.

TED-Ed Lessons

I am so excited about new opportunities to bring art history to students and other audiences who may not have been reached before. TED-Ed lessons remind me of the old Schoolhouse Rock segments I used to watch on TV as a kid. They are short, fun, and I won’t lie: It is oh-so-challenging to encapsulate those “ideas worth sharing” in just a few minutes! You can find samples of my work for TED-Ed here and here.

Lectures and Discussions

I am invited regularly to teach and deliver lectures at colleges, universities, museums, cultural centers, bookstores, and other venues on subjects related to art history and authentic travel.

Book Clubs

I LOVE joining book club groups in person, or via Skype or Google Hangout. Email me at laura (at) lauramorelli.com if you’d like me to join your book group discussion!

Private and Charity Events

I have collaborated with event organizers to stage elaborate Venetian-themed dinner events including multimedia slide shows.

If you would like to book me as a speaker or teacher, or would like for me to join your book club, just email me at laura (at) lauramorelli.com!
